DESK / TABLE LAMP

This is a circa 1910-1920 Industrial Draftsman Desk Lamp made by the O.C. White Co. of Worcester, MA. This is believed to be the first in the Draftsman Longline Lamp series, still being produced to this day. The lamp easily attaches securely to any desk, workbench, or table with the 4 original screws that come with the lamp. This fully adjustable lamp was made for a variety of commercial applications, and was designed specifically for a draftsman, architect, and engineer. This early model includes decorative adornments not found on contemporary industrial lamps. The lamp is all bronze finished metal and appears to have the original Arts & Crafts style metal shade. It also has an old Bryant socket and switch. The shade is fully adjustable and can be moved up or down with the use of a wing nut and side to side, and the arm can be extended using a heavy duty knob that turns to tighten or loosen the arm.

The lamp is in very good working condition, and retains its original wiring and socket. Cosmetically, the lamp is unique with great antique elements. It has minor marks from usage, but overall it looks great. The lamp measures approximately 26-1/2" high fully extended. The lamp is signed "O.C. White Co. Worcester
