Antique C17th oak Yorkshire/Derbyshire wainscot armchair circa 1670

An exceptional example of a C17th Yorkshire/Derbyshire oak wainscot chair, circa 1670, in very original condition the legs showing little wear in 450 years of use and with two rare iron reed-light holders attached to the back of the chair.The wainscot panel has a typical lozenge carving with sloping side arms crested top rail and curled 'ears'. Size:- 47" hi x 23" deep x 25" wide. All the pegged joints are solid and firm. Retirement and downsizing forces reluctant sale. Buyer to collect from Easingwold near York please.
