This is a beautiful teacup and saucer with a soft blue oriental design on the off white porcelain background. The 'Grainger and Co Worcester' mark on the base of each piece dates the set to between 1805 and 1811.Apparently pieces of this type oriental design are more unusual as for this age, more willow type patterns with dragons have survived the two centuries. The saucer is a virtually perfect example, but the cup has a fine crack - I have taken plenty of pictures to show this. However, it still looks beautiful when on display and being a rarity would add depth to anyone's collection. Considering all it may have been through in 200 years, it is quite remarkable, really! I pack well and send 2nd class recorded delivery to Uk addresses for peace of mind. Will also post worldwide by airsure/signed for, but at your own risk. Thanks for looking and !
