** VERY NICE ** OLD ANTIQUE Ca 1860's AMERICAN HAND BLOWN PONTILED GLASS PERFUME COLOGNE BOTLE This offering is for an antique hand blown glass perfume or cologne bottle. The 4" tall bottle is made of a beautiful deep emerald green glass with a wonderful darker looping streak of color down one side. The neck and mouth are hand finished and the bottom shows the remains of a glass pontil scar. A deep green fragment of a matching bottle was dug at the factory site of the Boston & Sandwich Glass Co . 1850-1870 so the origin is of little question. The style of the bottle is similar to that of some bottle stoppers of the period so there is a good chance the bottle was blown in a stopper mold. The condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, stain or repairs. The bottle displays great and will make an excellent addition to someone's collection, shouldn't it be yours!!! If any further assistance is needed just drop me a note with any questions you may have and I will respond ASAP.
