Antique carriage clock Mappin & Webb 8 day brass case key wind 1898 not running

Late 19th century French carriage clock in brass and glass case by Mappin & Webb; marked on the dial "Exam by Mappin & Webb London" and "French Made"; engraving on the top which indicates it was a wedding gift in 1898 to a William Dabius (sp?) Esq. from a band and its committee
measures about 6-7/8" tall, 3.75" wide, and 3.25" deep (dollar bill shown in image for size comparison only)
Imperfect, antique, pre-owned used condition - not running, for repair. The rod that holds the main spring barrel into place - the bushing has worn, so the barrel slips when you wind it. The works and main spring are in good condition and with the replaced bushing it should run no problem. The case has surface wear and there is some roughness/chipping to the glass on the back on the left edge of the door (please see photos).
