An antique cast iron wall match holder. -Scarce- The match holder advertises "Lungstros Dyeing & Cleaning Co.". There is a figural wall telephone that advises customers to "Ring Up". The match holder is 6 1/2" long x 3 1/4" wide. The door pushes down to get to the match compartment. -The match safe is probably 100 years old. It was stored for many years. Sometime, it has been repainted. On the bottom edge, there is pitting under the paint, and the screw hole has been broken off. It displays very well, and is scarce. The nostalgic old phone adds a great deal to the advertising. From a St. Louis estate.
