FINE ANTIQUE CHINESE EXPORT OCTAGONAL ARMORIAL TUREEN FROM SHREWSBURY MUSEUM

FINE ANTIQUE CHINESE EXPORT OCTAGONAL ARMORIAL TUREEN FROM SHREWSBURY MUSEUM COLLECTION IT COULD BE A COVERED VEGETABLE BOWL. probably not large enough to classify as a tureen. Size: 9.25" x 7.75" x 5.5" high to the top of the finial. This large vegetable dish was made for the East India Company and is a great example of its type of Export. Fine detail, all hand decorated and shows off a spectacular coat of arms or family crest. All made for western export. Probably late 19thc. to early 20thc. The only faults I can find are minor gold trim loss, paint loss on the finial and some various degree of light staining as shown in and around the floral decorations.(this could probably be professionally removed with chemicals) A great piece. Help yourself. Please ask questions before you bid. Shipping and handling is $28.50 within the 48 States with the required insurance included to $500. NO PO BOXES.

layaway plans are OK with easy terms.
