This is a Yixing covered jar or container with floral painting around the center of the jar. It also has 4 rows of writing and a red mark. The color of the clay is a deep red/brown. The jar is 5 ½ inches tall and approximately 6 1/4 inches in diameter at the widest part. It has what looks to be the original lid though the color is not exactly the same shade of green as what is on the jar. It also has a stand which I believe to be rosewood. It is signed on the bottom with an archaic mark. When the jar is on the stand with the lid on it is 9 3/4 inches tall. We date this to the 19 th century, most likely early to mid. It is in very good condition. There is wear to the enamels from use. There is a chip on the lip as can be seen in the pictures. There is also a tiny nick on the bottom. There is no other damage. The shipping cost includes insurance. International shipping will be done by USPS express mail insured. This is being listed at the same time as another similar jar.
