Antique Civil War Era Oak Spice Cabinet Drawers

Gorgeous old Hanging Oak Wood Spice Drawers Cabinet with original finish and great patina. I found this at an estate sale and was told it was Civil War era by a member of the family, its construction does indicate it is very old, the drawers were assembled with tongue and groove and the nails on the bottom of the drawers are very small square nails. The back they used round nails. The hole at the top for hanging was splitting and has been reinforced on the back with a handmade round copper washer. T is also a chip in the wood on the lower back, it measures 1" x 3/4".

This charming primitive kitchen cabinet can be hung and features four drawers for spices with a bin at the bottom with a lift up lid. All of the drawers have two compartments, and each drawer has the original porcelain knobs.

It measures 23" tall x x 8" deep x 10 1/2" wide. A beautiful old cabinet and highly collectible.
