Antique 6 Draw J. P. Cutts London Warranted Telescope Circa 1825-1860

This is the third of four antique telescopes I am placing up for auction. All of these telescopes have six draws or more which is relatively uncommon, and are at least 150 years old (or older). This third telescope was made by "J. P. Cutts London Warranted" so marked on the smallest draw. This is a six draw model. John Priston Cutts worked out of Sheffield and London between 1825-1860. The draws are nice and tight and when properly extended, deliver a clear image. The base barrel is comprised of solid wood. The eyepiece lens is protected by a sliding lens protector and there is a protective brass protector cap for the larger object lens. The telescope measures only 6.25" retracted and 28.5" with all six draws extended. This is a well machined telescope. Buyer pays shipping and required insurance ($15.00 in continental USA and $55.00 international). I do not ship to China and payment is expected within 3 days of the end of the auction.
