Up for bid is this uniquely designed antique stained leaded glass window from the 1940's that came from Wharf Antiques, England. A stained glass window is judged on the amount of color(s) it has & it's unique design. This one is definitely a winner in both categories!! A beautiful large shrub is featured with ivy green colored glass. Not one, but multiple shades of green were used for the landscape on the sides, & at the top & the lower part of the window. Two panels of the house & one panel in the background are a lovely shade of purple. The roof is green & the other two background panels are a beautiful blue. All the glass pieces are deeply beveled. T are three hairline cracks. One is on the yellow skyline piece of glass by the purple panel & the other two are on the larger blue piece of glass. All are hard to see due to the colors. The leading around the glass is very thick & all in very good condition. The frame is also in good condition considering it's age. It's 12 1/4" tall (w/wood frame) & 22" wide. The sides of the frame are from 1 1/2"- 2" thick & the original hinges are still attached. You can leave it in it's natural vintage condition or paint/stain it to match your decor. This is an exceptional piece for it's color & design! Please review photos & E-Mail questions prior
