NOW........... Here is a wonderful opportunity to own a magnificent antique hand painted charger plate for your collection at an affordable price. A true work of art. Incredible decorative item for that special hunter or lodge decor. You are buying fine porcelain charger produced by the prestigious Fischer & Mieg Company, ca:1853-1873. It is an artist signed piece hand painted by listed artist "A.Weinberger" (I attribute to Anton Weinberger 1843-1912), noted for his landscape and animal works. The item depicts a buck and doe antelope looking animals in a field beneath blue skies. Absolutely stunning. The massive gem measures slightly more than 16" in diameter and has a gold accented rim. The piece is well marked (Impressed) with the company mark on the back. They don't get much nicer than this. I purchased this piece from an antiques dealer many years ago and it now returns "fresh" to the market. Great buy priced for resale. Guaranteed old. Be certain to view all photos in this listing. Overall, the item is in excellent (NOT MINT) condition void of any breaks, cracks, chips or major damage. NOTE:There are signs of wear consistent with age including minor scuff marks and wear to the gold rim. Nothing that detracts from the overall look or use. Ready for immediate use, once cleaned, however you should recheck (or replace) the
