Antique "fluted" 10 gallon gas can. This unique gas can supposedly was once used to transport gasoline into the rural interior of America. This steel can is 36" tall x 12" wide and has a pressed, ornate "fluted" look, similar to a Greek Column to it. The screw lid has an excellent set of threads to lock on the cap. The cap has in raised letters the name "Ellisco" on it, followed by "Geo. Ellis & Sons" of Philadelphia, PA. The can was repainted many years ago & has some minor surface rust on it and still had product in it when I got it. T are no pin holes, patches, solder or dents on the exterior. The overall condition is very good & it's being sold "as is". I've described this item to the best of my abilities and t are no warranties implied or expressed. The buyer is responsible for shipping costs estimated at $15.00. I accept US currency, Cashiers Checks, & money orders made out in US dollars. Personal Checks will have to clear the bank before this item will be shipped. Pay Pal is not accepted. Full payment is expected within 7 days of the close of this sale. Good luck bidding.
