Antique Germany Maurer, Pfaff & Schlenker / Jerger Mantel Shelf Alarm Clock

I have for sale this Beautiful Ornate Antique German Mantel Shelf Alarm Clock, which I believe, was made by either Maurer, Pfaff & Schlenker sometime at the end of the 1800’s or a small chance of it being Wilhelm Jerger. Please feel free to correct me if you know differently. The maker’s mark on the clock is a J within a Diamond within a Circle. It has also been signed by hand and the name looks like either Talbot or Jalbot. The clock does need some restoration. The movement itself appears to work however the pendulum is missing and due to not having one the clock runs away with itself. I don’t know how to set the alarm but I am assuming this works as the rest of the movement does but I can’t really check how accurate it is without the correct pendulum. The top part of the case has some pieces missing from it such as a piece of cornice and there looks like there should have been something on either side of the top piece but the main body of the case seems ok apart from right side bottom back edge of shelf section has a small area of top layer wood missing and some nibbles here and there but the overall condition is nice. The top section needs fixing to main body. I have placed it there for photographing. It has brass details with cherub like figures (see photos) along with other brass details as well as wooden details mouldings

It comes with the key. This is a lovely looking clock. The white marks in photo's are from the camera flash.

Please see all photos.

Due to the weight of the clock overseas postage would have to go via parcelforce so will be expensive so please email me for a price before bidding.
