An antique green silk and gold trimmed Roman catholic chasuble, c. 1920

On offer is this attractive green textile chasuble. Dating to the first decades of the 20th century this priest's vestment is made of beautiful olive green damask or brocade like fabric, while the neck is adorned with traditional gold colored braids. On it's backside this chasuble has a cross shaped gilt woven decoration of entangled rings within a radiating figure made of small round spangles. It is lined with a deep yellow colored linen or cotton like textile fabric. This vestment has a fiddle shaped front and is in good condition considering it's age, but shows some loose threading in the front area. This could easily be mended so the vestment will be ready to be used for devotional purposes. Please view the pictures, which give a good and honest impression of the quality and condition of this fine chasuble.

I guarantee age (c. 1920) and authenticity of this attractive devotional vestment originating from The Netherlands. Please view my other auctions for chasubles. I will be happy to combine shipments at lower costs.
