Presenting an Antique HAMILTON-ECONOMY Oak & Iron Drafting Table. This very well built early Artists, Architects table features a Solid Oak framework with Solid Oak drawer. The stretcher base looks to be Solid 2.5 inch THICK Walnut. Large, adjustable angle top is Maple & measures 54 inches wide by 36.5 inches by 1.75 inches thick. It has an Ingenious design with adjustable hardwood "Breadboard" ends to prevent warping & help keep the large top flat & true. Table adjusts from horizontal to a steep angle & anyw inbetween via Heavy Cast Iron adjustment wheels on either side. The Solid Oak drawer is very deep & has a provision for a sliding inner tray top. Retains its original Bin Pull handle. Original makers tag reads HAMILTON-ECONOMY "Wood Goods" & "Steel" Found in the drawer were 4) "leg extension" blocks that raise the table height 3 inches (not pictured). Original dark golden oak finishes with normal wear from use & age, adding to the pleasing antique patina. Measures 34 inches high in horizontal position, completely dissasembles to 11 inches by 54 inches by 36.5 inches for shipping/transport.
