ANTIQUE HAND MADE DOUBLE DERBY STRAW HAT MILLINERY FORM Search Prev Stop Play Next This is what appears to be an antique Derby straw hat millinery hat form that is made of wood. It is rare that it is a rather unusual combination of two hat forms. At first I thought it was for making straw hats, but it may have been made for the Jewish Hasidic religion, as it is two hat forms. It is in excellent vintage condition, and is hallmarked accordingly. It is quite unusual to find a straw hat form, with two tops. The hat form is comprised of three pieces. The first top hat that is shaped measures 6 1/4 inches by 6 inches. It is 2 3/8 inches tall. The circumference of the fiest top hat form that is slightly slanted is: 19 3/8 inches. The circumference of the bottom of the first hat form that is slightly slanted is 17 1/4 inches. The Brim The circumference of the brim portion measures ____. The brim measures 11 3/4 from front to back, and by just under 12 3/4 inches from side to side. The brim is 3/4 of an inch deep, and is ridged in the center. The circumference of the bottom hat form, or the third portion is 19 3/8 inches. It is 3 inches tall. The second one that appears to be flat on the sides measures 5 1/2 by 6 1/4 inches.
