Antique Haviland Limoge France Tureen Pink Roses Gold Gilt Lidded Fancy Handle

Antique Haviland Limoge France hand painted lidded tureen or casserole, C- 1900. Beautiful translucent porcelain and ornately embossed mold decorated with garlands of pink roses, soft blue flowers which look like the old fashioned 'Cupids Dart', and richly trimmed in gold gilt. A Shleiger pattern with a scalloped rimmed bowl and lid with continued decoration on the inside of the tureen. The piece is marked "Haviland & Co Limoges" in red on inside of lid and bottom of bowl. It is also marked "M&C Lx France" in green and impressed marks on the base of the bowl. Approximately 9 3/4" wide handle to handle and 4 1/2" height to the top of the lid's handle. The bowl itself is approximately 7 1/4" diameter and has 2" depth. Very good condition; no chips, cracks, or damage. this piece would combine beautifully with many of the other Haviland Limoge patterns that feature similar combinations of pink roses, garlands, bows and various blue flowers that are completed with gold trim and banding. It is fun to mix and match and sometimes is a necessity. I have many pieces in my collection which blend very nicely. However, I do have more pieces in this pattern which I will be listing later in the week and would be happy to discount shipping costs for multiple purchases on these pieces or any others I have for sale.
