Many people do not know what I do when I receive a raw frame.Before you receive a frame from us we first disinfect it and put them thru a structural integrity and handling safety protocol.This is like your M.D. checking your fitness level.Our frames must be sturdy and tight without any supports like glass or stiff backing.The frame must stand alone.You will never receive a frame from us with loose and rattling liners.I take out wood slivers on back edges and remove them so you don't.I do not touch the frames patina but clean it with a neutral balm and enhance it and seal it with more fine neutral balm and waxes.All these extra checks and repairs cost dearly in special materials used,tools and time so you get a frame that you can embrace.I may charge a bit more,but you get what you pay for!Most if not all frames shipped from us will outlive buyer,unless it is dropped or abused. .You are bidding/buying on an antique beauty ,almost pristine, shadow to wall,with duel gold oxidized liners,{{{3 teir,7 layer}}},with white incised flower cuts on bi-angled fluted ebony,Eastlake movement style or Renaissance Revival,dark walnut wood frame.The incised cuts have very little wear and soiling.This is rare.Outside that,the gold liner has,little wear, but normal black age specks, and lines .The walnut wood has less than the normal nicks for c188
