Antique Ivory Monkey Netsuke

This is a 19th century ivory old monkey netsuke with nice patina. T is a 3 character signature carved on the bottom but not easily recognizable.
The monkey is showing an unique expression of "deep contemplation".
It measures 1 1/8" toe to tail and 1" high foot to head. A relatively small netsuke.
