ANTIQUE JAPANESE ARMY NAVY SHINTO & ETC BADGE MEDAL LOT
- Source: eBay
I just got in a large amount of Japanese medals and badges, see my other auctions for the rest. All are listed today. Win multiple auctions and save a lot on shipping costs. This auction is for a nice mixed lot of pre-WWII to post-WWII era Japanese medals and badges. There's a nice Japanese military China Incident medal in the lot. And note the tin (colorful one) badge that reads BANZAI!. The lareger cherry blossom one is dated October 1941 and it's from the Yasukuni Shinto shrine. The date is for when a family member could visit the shrine when their relative would have their soul enshrined. There's at least one Buddhist related too. Probably the oldest item here is going to date from around the 1900s. For the most part this lot is in excellent shape, naturally there will be some wear and patina on some. See all the pictures, it's a very nice lot. Thank you and good luck bidding.
