This auction is for a set of tea cups and saucers, t are a total of 6 cups and 4 saucers.Based on the design, I believe they are Japanese in origin, and I believe they are Porcelain. Each cup measures about 2 1/4" tall and about 3" or so from the outer side of the handle to the opposite side of the cup...and the upper 'rim' is about 2 1/2" in diameter. Each saucer measures about 4 3/4" in diameter. Each of these items is SIGNED on the bottom...see images. The scenes on these cups and saucers are all slightly different...look at the images closely....The handles on the cups are truly wonderful. They are at a slight angle, making these wonderful to hold...and detailed in a raised dot painted details..see images. This group of cups and saucers are in very good vintage condition...please enlarge images to get a closer look at thier condition.I can locate no dings/chips on these items...t is some wear to the gold painted details.....for example on the upper and lower edges of the cups..and the handles appear to have some slight wear to the paint, though I would say that these cups and saucers
