Here is a very nice antique Birmingham 1884 Kendal and Dent English lever keywind pocket watch which is being sold for repair. I had had it working continuously for the past , 3 weeks, and it was seeming to keep good time, and then when I was trying to take some pictures I accidently let it slip from my hand , stopped it from falling , but had the dust cover off and broke the staff in doing so..

The dial has some hairline cracks at between 11 and 12 running down to the top of the sub secs dial and below it at 6 also between 12 and 1 and right at the outer edge at near 8 ( please see photo ) it .has on it KENDAL & DENT LONDON

The glass is very fair

On the inside of the back cover , which has a couple of small dents and a cartouche to the centre of an engine turned design, with an inscription which is quite worn of CHURCH BELL HANGER and a name around the cartouche of ??A C C E T T are the hallmarks of lion passant anchor date letter k 62294 a stamp I cannot make out R.B. J64 These same marks are on the inside of the case.

On the movement is Kendal & Dent 106 Cheapside LONDON 62294N On the inside of the dust cover is the number 62294 .

It measures approx 50mm across.

The entire watch and case weighs approx 119 gramms
