For Auction: is a ANTIQUE LAMP - HANGING PULL DOWN CANDLE STYLE FIXTURE from 1800's in excllent condition, considering its age. Printed on metal ring at the top of globe is: PAT PEND OCT 7, 1876, APRIL 24, 1877. All of the glass on this item is in excellent condition with no chips, nicks, or scratches on them. Has a large white milk glass globe with brown, beige, and green flowered vine on the side. This globe measures 14" in diameter, and 7 1/4" tall. The small round globe that hangs at the top is milk glass and measures 3 1/4" tall, and 3 1/2" in diameter. This lamp is accented with goldtoned brass. The weight that keeps it balanced is metal on the inside, metal has some rust on it, but can't be seen when hung up. This is very normal for its age. From the top of globe to the bottom of metal it is 15" long. It hangs down approximatly 42". This lamp is made to be pulled down to light it and then you can push it back up for better lighting, this is not electric. This hanging candle lamp would make a great addition to any room, especially the bedroom for those special candle lit nights.
