This is an Antique Metal Banquet/Parlor Lamp. It is marked on side: The New Juno No.2 Made in USA. On the cap of the kerosene cover, it says: Made in the United States of America. On the wick turning knob, it says: Pat. Mar 21, 1895. I am not sure what metal this is made of, but is a silverish color, with a very nice patina. I did not want to disturb the patina. I think this was originally a kerosene lamp, but has been modified (some time ago) to be an electric lamp. Whoever did the modification, did a wonderful job. If you didn't check the knob on the kerosene tank, and the wick adjustment, you might think they were just decorations, but the more I have looked at this, I think it was kerosene, and then modified to an electric lamp. Again, whoever did the modification did a super job. Very hard to tell that switch on base is not original. The chimney that is with this is not original. It came with the lamp, and is a different size. Chimney base should be smaller. I am sure you can find one to fit this wonderful lamp. I do not know whether the green shade is original or not, but it came with the lamp. The condition of the lamp itself is great. The knob still comes off the kerosene tank, the modifications were done with great care, and it is a very nice looking lamp. The electric light works fine, and with the green shade, it looks
