7 languid red roses with old style green leaves against dark and light brown background. A beautiful old painting I've owned for many years and displayed as is without a frame. Oil painting on canvas, tacked to wood stretch bar, unsigned, estimated age around turn of century. Measures 28" X 10". Perfect size above a secretary or doorway, tucks right in to narrow spaces. I have another up for sale which was a companion piece to this one. CONDITION- Painting has some holes in the canvas, some small spots where paint is missing and looks like some old varnish but for me adds to look of age and deteriorating beauty. A favorite of mine. Photos (taken in sunlight( show the red roses as slightly brighter and the overall painting slightly lighter than when hanging on a wall.California buyers pay Ca Sales Tax and I accept returns.
