Antique Photo / Woman in Kimono / Japanese / c. 1930

This Japanese photo of a young woman waring a kimono appears to date to around 1930, and was shot by Morikawa photo studio of Tokyo. There are no inscriptions.

This image is in good condition. There are no tears or scratches, but there are a few light smudges and age-spots. The detail is good but the focus softens a little under magnification. The tones in the close-up sample scan are slightly greener than those of the actual images.

The matting is in good condition but has some age-spotting and a little wear at the corners, and there is a little separation of the layers of cardboard at the top right corner. The folio cover and tissue are intact but have some smudges smudges and some wear at the edges and corners, and the cover has a couple of small tears and a little separation of the layers of cardboard at the edges.
