RARE ANTIQUE PLASTER CAST- FOOT BINDING CHINESE LOTUS SLIPPERS BOUND SHOES

Up for auction is this very rare Lotus foot cast with Lotus shoe. The cast is made of plaster and would be used as a shoe form when sewing the Lotus shoe. I have taken many pictures.This is a wonderful display piece. Comes in its own box. The shoe has never been worn. Very bright and colorful. The sole is 2" long. 2.5" long from heel to tip of toe on the bottom. The shoe for the foot is 3.5" long. The heel is 1 1/4" tall. It is 2.5" from top of heel to top of heel pull. Their is a separate leggin that is 4" long to cover the leg of the cast. The foot is 3" long. It is 5" tall to top of leg. Their is discoloration on the foot form. Their is cotton binding wrapped around the foot.The wooden box is 7 1/4" tall,4.5" wide and 2.5" deep. With a metal handle on the top. Their is a painted symbol on the top of box and a label on the inside. I believe it is from the 19th century. Not sure I am no expert. They are from a collector that lived in Japan and traveled all over in the late 30's to 70's. Perhaps no other shoe in history has provided so much cultural fascination and ethical revulsion than the traditional Chinese practice of foot binding.
