is a gorgeous late 19th Century English Chamber Set in pink and white porcelain with hand painted black trim and colorful fruit transferware banding each piece. This is a complete set including the three piece lidded soap dish with decorated drain dish; a large handled chamber pot; tall decorative water pitcher and large functional wash basin. This wonderful Victorian set is well marked Pearl Pottery Hanley (1892-1936) in black underglaze print and incised NEWTON as shown, suggesting it was made in the 1890's prior to 1901. It also appears to be hand numbered and initialled in black ink as shown in the close up of the bottom of the pitcher. The rest of the set is unmarked.

The water pitcher stands 12 1/2 inches tall and measures 9 inches across handle to spout. It stands 13 inches tall while sitting in the 16 inch diameter wash basin, which measures 5 inches deep. The chamber pot stands 5 1/2 inches tall, has an 8 1/2 inch diameter and measures 10 1/2 inches handle to far rim. The soap dish has a 5 3/4 inch diameter and stands 3 1/2 inches tall with it's lid in place and 1 3/4 inches tall without it's lid. The pitcher and the chamber pot are both the extremely good condition and free of any issues.
