This is an anitque porcelain portrait in a decorative wooden ribbon frame. The porcelain appears to be over metal. I do not know anything about this but found it at an estate sale. It appears to be hand painted. I do not see a signature. It appears like the woman is holding some type of spaniel dog. I would guess this to be mid to late 19th century but donot know for sure so you are buying it as described. T is a small chip area on th eback that reveals that the porcelian is over some type of metal. The frame is in nice shape and very good quality. T is nice patina and wear with a couple of areas of chipped paint. The image itself appears perfect. If you are giving this as a gift, I will get it shipped on Monday if I have the payment late Sunday and I will ship however you choose to make sure ti arrives for Christmas. Of course if you select a premiuim shipping method you will have top incur the cost. Paypal only please. Three day auction with no reserve. You let me know how you want it shipped. I will list USPS priority but you can upgrade and pay the difference later if you want osmething different. Email with any questions. The frame is +/- 6.75 wide, alomst 9 inces tall (to the tip of the ribbon), the plaque is 5.5 x 4.25.
