is an old primative wooden mirror that, with the frame, is 14" x 11". The back of the mirror frame is wood as well. I carefully removed the wood back and found "May 11, 1899, Bream City Mirror Plate Rockford, IL" stamped on the back of the mirror. The frame and back are in excellent condition; the mirror is beginning to show its age. I don't know what they used over 100 years ago to create a mirror, but whatever it was, it is becoming blotchy in places. This mirror is quite heavy (a bit over 4 pounds). I believe this mirror probably came from my great-grandparent's farm in Millersburg, Indiana.
