Antique & Rare Bobon Server AVON (1900)

This auction is for an antique (ca. 1900) and very rare silver plate bonbon server by 1847 Rogers Bros. in their early and beautiful Art Nouveau inspired AVON pattern of 1900. Piece measures 5 1/16" long x 2" wide (diameter of finely pierced bowl). Back of handle is lightly engraved with the monogram of the letters MP in script. Condition is extremely good, close to pristine. Sports no areas of unsightly damage or repairs, just light surface scratches and tarnish commensurate with age and gentle use. A wonderful addition to your collection of fine silverplate flatware in this early and collectible pattern is offered for a low opening bid and no reserve.
