ANTIQUE RCU KNIGHTS OF ST JOHN MASONIC MASON SWORDThis antique RCU Knights of St John Knights Templar sword is dated to be forged between 1881-1885 by Charles Svendsen in Cincinnati, OH. Late 1800's fraternal sword by Charles Svenson of Cincinnati Ohio. Charles Svenson was in the Regalia business from 1881 thru 1885 in Cincinnati. This sword is related to the Knights Templar and is in pretty good shape for its age. With a little bit of polishing and restoration it can look even better! These swords usually have a name etched on the opposite side of the swords blade that is engraved with "RCU Knights of St John" in beautiful script lettering. The Knights of St. John were an elite organization and have been in existance since about the 12th century. This is a highly detailed sword with the Maltese cross on the scabbard among other decorations.
