Antique Royal Worcester Egyptian Musicians #1084 - Circa 1890s - Rare & Mint!

You are viewing a very rare matched set of antique Royal Worcester porcelain figures of an ancient female Egyptian tambourine player and an ancient male Egyptian harp player. The figures' skin is ivory, with the robe/head scarf a blend of earth tones with gold gilt accents. The musical instruments also feature gold gilt highlights.

The enamel on the figure exudes a wonderful, almost iridescent glow. The attached photos show the figures' amazing detail and the delicate hand painted details on their clothing. Its a beautiful piece which is in excellent display condition.

These figures are in mint condition with no cracks, chips or blemishes whatsover. They've been treated like museum pieces for their entire 120 year life.

Please see the attached images of the stamp on the base. These figures date to the 1890s according to the markings used by Royal Worcester. They are both signed on the bases by the renowned artist James Hadley, whose work with Royal Worcester is considered some of the finest.

These are Royal Worcester Series 1084, Rd No 26651 & 26652. They are approximately 9" high and 4" wide at the base.
