You are bidding on an Antique Roll Top Desk. (Similar to a Stickley Brand) This Desk has the S-Roll Top. The desk is 4'8" wide, 2' 10" deep by 4'3" tall (at tallest). We had the Tambour reworked when we bought the desk a few years ago. The desk has a small burn on the left side of writing area from w a pipe used to be placed. The story we were told of this desk was that is was owned by a cotton gin plant owner in the deep south who would place his lit pipe down on the desk while he was writing, etc. The owner ended up loosing the desk in a poker game. The desk has one smaller drawer on the top that has been redone and does not match the others too well. This is the only thing that is not original to the desk.
