Antique Sessions 8 Day Time & Strike Clock Movement

This movement is markes as follows:

The Sessions Clock Co.

U.S.A.

Forestville, Conn.

The plates measure 5 ¼ inches by 3 ½ inches. The winding arbors are 3 ¼ inches apart and each is 2 inches from the center hand arbor. The strike seems to work properly and the movement ticks despite the pendulum leader/suspension spring being among the missing. It is easily obtained from any clock supply house. It comes with a gong on which it strikes the hour and half-hour. I twasn't tested for time keeping and it would benefit from a leaning and oiling. (too many clocks, not enough time.) The pictures are part of the description so please look carefully at the pictures to avoid disappointment. Outside USA email after auction for price quote. Only PayPal is accepted. Items are usually shipped on Fridays of each week following payment. I use USPS Priority Mail as a rule because I find that the less time it takes to ship, the less damage takes place.
