Fresh find from a Maryland Estate is this Antique "Folding" ships anchor that is referred to as an Kedge that featured a sliding bar that would fold down allowing the anchor to lay flat on the deck or anchor lockerThis piece from the estate of a Chesapeake Boat Builder still retains the O ring and shackle and metal lock for the cross bar as you can see in the picturesWonderful aged patina, with classic anchor lines makes this one a keeperBecause of its size and weight(tipping the scale at 60lb) we're offering local pick in the 20657 zip code.We can ship of course but this ones going to need crating that is not included in the offering priceMeasures 40" tall, 22 ½" fluke to fluke and the cross bar measures 36 ½"Check out my other items !
