Up for auction is a silver full hunter verge fusee pocket watchThe movement is ornately engraved all over and has some bright purple metal parts (I havent a clue what these are called!)It has old looking pillars. The fusee chain is present (on the back barrel) but the movement is not working- I could wind it ok but the balance wheel is a little wobbly and does not swing freely. For this reason it is being sold for spares or repair. The white enamel dial is in very good condition with no damage or hairlines. It is signed M.J.Tobias Liverpool. All hands are missing The crystal is also in good condition with no visible scratches. The movement is housed in a superb consular? silver hunter case. The case is thick and very sturdy with absolutely no dings or dents- it feels so strong I dont think it could get any dents. It is finely engine turned on both covers. All covers close tightly and the button on the stem opens the front cover. In the back cover there is a lion passant stamp for solid silver and several other marks I dont recognise, one looks like a crown or an E on its side.. I have tried my best to photograph them but they are very small and wornThe case measures aprox 55mm ( without the stem) x 23mm deep. Please study the photos. Thank you
