LOVELY ANTIQUE COTTON CORSET COVER/CAMISOLE (COULD BE WORN OVER YOUR FAVORITE TEE)~ DATES PROBABLY FROM THE 1800's-early 1900's ERA ~ THE PIECE HAS VERY PRETTY TAPE LACE BODICE MADE UP OF 7 LAYERS WITH TOP TAPE SCALLOPED. TAPE LACE IS AN ALTERNATING EYELET TAPE AND A DAINTY ROSE NET TAPE. The ORIGINAL CREME SILK RIBBON IS STILL STRONG AND GATHERS THE TOP THROUGH TAPE ALLOWING FOR ADJUSTMENT IN FIT. T is front pleating and 2 old shell buttons close down the front with a fabric piece covering them. T is also waist draw string. at back of waist. The piece is in excellent shape for age of garment in my opinion. The piece has no holes or stains and was laundered and starched some time ago by myself and has been packed away. I feel this can be cleaned with no problem if one chooses due to overall strength of materials.

The corset cover is somewhat adjustable in size due to draw strings and ribbon gathering. WITHOUT gather it measures aprox. 19"across front shoulder to shoulder m ~ The length is aprox. 20" ~ the waist is aprox 16" across front ~ armpit to armpit is aprox. 22" across front ~ Sleeve opening is aprox. 9 1/2". NOTE: This can fit smaller drawing ribbon and waist string in.

I attempted to give you a good idea and show you in photos the style and design of this pretty corset cover or camisole top. It is so hard to see
