This is a large size circa 1900 tablecloth. It is made from damask linen with a woven turkey red border and fringed edges.Turkey red is the name of a dye that was used for table linens in the Victorian era.The pattern of trailing periwinkle type flowers and leaves runs throughout the cloth.Condition is good , no stains or marks but there are 2 very small holes that need a couple of stitches to repair.Size 80inches x 52 inches plus 3 inch fringe. Great size for a farmhouse table.
