Hello, Up for auction is an Victorian Sterling Sash Pin/Brooch. This piece is not marked! I took it to my jewelers, fairly confident already, that it was sterling. He said most likely but I did not have it tested. Just the look and feel of it will tell you it is sterling. This is probably the most interesting and one of the oldest pieces I have ever come across. It is so beautiful just to look at! From my research it would be from about the 1880's. The brooch measures 2 3/4" across x 2" high. The pinstem is the same width (2 3/4") across. This is so well detailed and very clean. An excellent addition to any collection!!! I am cleaning out my jewelry so please watch for more interesting items coming up! The items I sell are vintage/antique which means they may or may not have been used.
