This is a set of 4 delightful antique wire garden chairs with straight backs. I don't know the full history of these, but my parents had bought them used close to 40 years ago. My guess is they were made in the early 1900s and made in America. They are beautifully handmade with variations between them, though they all have the same beautifully delicate style. The chairs are held together with hand wrapped wire and t is no welding or soldering used anyw that I can see. The dimensions of the chairs are 38"H x 17"W x 15"D . The conditions of the chairs vary, I'll be glad to provide additional details as necessary. - One chair has no oxidation and is sturdy - One chair has light patches of oxidation and is sturdy - One chair has light patches of oxidation and is a little rickety. Nothing a little straightening and tightening wouldn't fix - One chair has light patches of oxidation and is not sturdy due to a crooked leg and wire ties that are either loose or missing. A bit more work is required to bring this one around, though all structural pieces are t I was preparing to refinish them, so the chairs have been stripped clean and are ready for any finish that you wish.
