Antique c. 1930s servant annunciator. This is what the rich folks used back in the day to buzz the servants in their quarters that the tea & crumpets needed to be delivered to the drawing room STAT! The unit is painted and I have no clue as to what the wood is underneath, although if I were to guess, based on the grain on the backside of the unit, I would think it might be oak. The bell has some rust & oxidation as shown and is missing the final that attaches it to the unit. T is a crack at the bottom of the glass panel so that would also need to be replaced. With some work, this unique piece would be great in any vintage kitchen décor - a great conversation piece no less. It measures 15âeh x 10 1⁄2âew x 2âed and weighs 8 lbs. Shipping to the lower 48 is $20 via UPS Ground. THE FINE PRINT: Any bright or dark spots in the picture can be attributed to lighting . Buyer to pay shipping, handling and insurance.
