Antique Vintage Style Mine Cut Diamond Ring 5 Stone Anniversary Band - 14KT White Gold .25ctw. 5 mine cut diamonds in a very simple, elegant setting. I don't know the exact age, only that the jeweler told me that the diamonds were mine cut which usually means it was before the 40's. I can tell by the simple setting & the design which isn't perfectly uniform that it has some age to it & was probably hand crafted. It is a size and weighs 2.6 grams. 14KT solid white gold, stamped & tested. I am open to offers if the buy it now option is no longer available (ebay removes it after the first bid has been placed). ***This is another ring that I acquired in an unusual way. My daughter that is a freshman in college is really big into vintage clothing. She shops at all of the local thrift stores & vintage shops and whenever we go anywhere she looks for the vintage shops in that area. The year that we went to the bike rally in Sturgis, SD she hunted down some great thrift stores in the surrounding towns. She fell in love with a cute little mesh purse that had a scarf tied where the strap meets the bag. When we got home she wanted to take the scarf off to wash it since it was dirty & yellowed with age. When she untied the scarf from the ring, there was another knot. When she untied the knot, this ring was inside of the scarf. It was so neat & I wonder if it had special meaning or if it was hidden there for safe keeping or as a good luck charm. The purse itself was Whiting & Davis mesh style purse & it is so cute. Anyway, that is how we acquired the ring.*** Please check my other auctions as I am adding more of my jewelry collection on a regular basis. I am not looking to get retail prices, I am not unrealistic. It's time for alot of my jewelry to go, for numerous reasons. The main one is that my daughter is a freshman in college. Every dollar counts right now, however I really do want it to go to someone who will love it like I have. Low starting bid, NO reserve, high bid always wins. Low starting price in NO way reflects on the quality of the ring . Solid Gold, NOT dipped or plated. Real diamond, NOT cz or crystals. Grading estimate is just that an estimate, not a guarantee. It was done by a professional jeweler, but it was an "informal" appraisal, not a "formal," written appraisal. The informal costs $25 & has no waiting period. The formal costs $150 & there is a waiting list plus you have to leave it there for about a week. I will say that I have been collecting for numerous years & I have never had an issue with the grading being inaccurate. I recommend that you have your own appraisal done.
