Antique J W FISKE RUNNING HORSE WEATHER VANE 19th Century Folk Art Weathervane

Here is a genuine 19th Century weather vane with my attribution of J. W. Fiske & Co, NY City; one of the largest in Original Dry Verdigris Patina with yellow sizing and correct smooth seams with "make do" repairs. From nose to tail approximately 38 inches, rod is approximately 43 inches. Overall height without stand is approximately 19 inches. Please note-Directional and balls offered in a SEPARATE AUCTION. eBay only allows 12 photos so please bid on these separately-some collectors want them, some do not. My last photo shows one of my finest horse and jockey vanes that sold to a collector in NY, I generally avoid buying at auctions but the jockey & horse was too good and sold quickly even though it came through auction. Many of my ebay customers are now private clients and others know me from shows and reputation in New York and New Hampshire.
Here is what I consider one of the largest J. W. Fiske running horse vanes. It is from an owner in Keene, NH. It was taken off the owner's grandfathers barn at least 30 years ago but weathered well previous to that. You see the "make do" crude repairs of bullet holes. It was never re-installed and left in the house on a high boy for decoration. There is no stand.
PICTURE NOTES-my photos are ipad high resolution meant to show all-vane shows much better in person.
