NEW IN THE BOX Aristo-Craft 22506C Rio Grande Lil' Critter Diesel Locomotive with Bobber Caboose Nothing was more ubiquitous that the Lil’ Critters, used primarily in factories to move around rolling stock left off by the mainline systems for the factory to load and unload. These switchers were made by a variety of companies, often from parts from larger locos and were modified by the end user factories to suit their particular needs. Key to the Lil’ Critter looks were the side panels added to the drive train to prevent accidents with the floor workers who scurried about while the rolling stock was being moved.
