2 round porcelain and 1 octagonal earthenware plates. Smaller round plate pictured left with French shield argent and gule bend dextre with 3 gold anchors is Chinese export porcelain. Ivory body with gilt and red shells and scrolls on rim. 8 7/8" diam. Large round plate pictured center with modified Renaissance shield with sable field and gold tower center is Chinese export porcelain. Rim has Chinese flowers and scrolls in red, blue, green, teal, purple and gold. Centered at top of rim is a gold winged animal and a purple banderole with "ELHAN" above. 12" diam. Octagonal earthenware plate pictured right has an uneven dark blue patterned rim with a lightly painted 18th-19th century style shield in gold with interlocking initials possibly M, A, and H. Shield is wreathed with lightly painted green and purple flowers and foliage. Unglazed base. 10"l x 7"w. Condition: Some firing inclusions. Significant loss of gilding on smaller round plate.
