Art Deco solid silver Japanese Akoya pearl boxed MIKIMOTO tie clip

You bidding on an original Art Deco Mikimoto tie clip made of solid silver and an impressive 7mm Akoya pearl.

I have tried wearing it on a silver chain as a necklace and it looks absolutely stunning! I have also tried wearing it on a lady's scarf and on a lady's bag and it looks really gorgeous!
The shape of the piece is the typical geometric shapes of the Art Deco Period

The piece is stamped SILVER with the Mikimoto "M" and MIKIMOTO TOKYO.

MIKIMOTO is famous for using the very best quality pearls in his jewellery. During the Art Deco period, Japan produced the very best Akoya pearls, but has since been taken over by China, so from the Tokyo hallmark, I can tell this is original Art Deco.

The piece does have a Mikimoto label, but on the back it is stamped "made in Hong Kong", which leads me to believe this was taken from a later piece, but I will send it out anyway.

The clip weighs a total of 3g and the total length is 5cm end to end.

The box is made of green velvet with cream silk interior. It is also stamped Mikimoto and is the original box.

This truely is a fantastic piece, worthy of any avid collector's jewellery box!

Will be sent out second class recorded (INSURED)
