Up for bid is one Metate and one mano, legally collected in 1950's from Tulelake/Klamath Basin as it was drained for agricultural use. This piece is 15 inches long by 10 1/2 wide, 1 1/2 inches thick. It has been "worked" extensively on both sides. The mano stone is 5 inches long by 3 inches wide. T is very little naturally occuring damage and no plow marks. Klamath/Modoc pieces of this quality are getting harder and harder to find. These pieces are part of a large collection (see picture 2) of Klamath/Modoc stone artifacts that we recently purchased and we are selling off a few of the pieces. Also a reasonable shipping weight of 20 pounds. All of these pieces are 100% authentic and not altered in any way. If you are not happy with these pieces for any reason we will honor a 14 day return period, no questions asked, minus the shipping charges. We accept Pay Pal, money orders, cashiers checks and personal checks. Personal checks must clear the bank before the item will be shipped. This is a no reserve auction with a reasonable starting price.
