This listing is for an original photograph as shown.The photo appears to show US Army GIs gathering around a Messerschmitt Me 109 (also known as a Bf 109), possibly a "K" version. The photo came from an estate of the daughter of a US Army captain who served from 1942-1945 with the 79th Division. I have been able to confirm that the man was in the European theater from D-Day +6 through the end of the war.This image is believed to be an original print and is printed on Ridax paper which is period correct. Ridax was a photo paper company in Belgium.Please see the images of the actual item above for a better idea of the condition.
